After receiving her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois, Kim began her professional career as an estimator of interior construction projects at a kitchen design and surfaces center in Eugene, OR.
She went on to earn her associate's degree in Computer Aided Design & Drafting and has worked the past 10 years in the Civil Engineering field as a project designer / manager, and business manager.
